"Most of the squares on the elephant’s blanket were inspired by nature and the beautiful scenery of the places I have been. The fragility of nature and the delicate beauty of heritage places only serve to highlight the near extinction of the Asian elephants. I have always worked with blue and white on my ceramics and I was thrilled to be able to use this oriental approach on the Asian elephants’ project."
